Officer Arrested for Maliciously Plotting and Carrying Out the Death of His 2-Month-Old Son


On September 2nd, at the request of 24th District Attorney General Matthew Stowe, TBI Special Agents began investigating the cause of life-threatening injuries sustained by almost three-month-old Gunner Page at his family’s home in Puryear. The infant, the son of Paris Police Department officer Christopher Warren Page, died as a result of his injuries on September 7th. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information leading to Page as the individual responsible for his son’s death. Continue reading

Dale Brown of Detroit-based Threat Management Center is On-Point MAY 13, 2013 BY PETE EYRE


It’s telling that most of are not too pleased to see a police employee in our rearview mirror. Though we’ve not harmed anyone, there is an implicit threat – the person who claims to “protect and serve” may attempt to stop us and give us a ransom note for any number of reasons. If the police fail on even such a base level, how can they be trusted in more serious situations?
In Detroit, residents and business owners unsatisified with their local police have a real option – The Threat Management Center, which strives to deescalate situations, and to keep everyone involved safe. Their underlying philosophy and training is revolutionary, when compared to the always-ratchet-up-force model of police outfits.
I don’t think it a stretch to state that we’ll likely see others start to replicate the Threat Management Center in their areas. Without question, The Threat Management Center is creating real value. And it’s giving people real hope. Continue reading
